THE ART OF LIVING WELL

— Marietta, Georgia —

Our city is home to a rich and diverse art scene. From the stirring musical performances of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra to the jaw-dropping musical theatre productions of the The Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Marietta has something for everyone. We invite you to learn more about the many creative and cultural assets that fill the entire 23 square miles of our city. Because in Marietta, a strong art scene isn’t just an amenity, it’s a way of life.

We are the Marietta Arts Council, a volunteer-based Georgia nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the artistic and cultural landscape of the City of Marietta through advocacy, education, and public art. We create experiential installations and presentations of public art, including the annual Mountain to River TrailFest, a free public arts festival featuring murals, sculptures, and live performances.

M2R TRAILFEST IS BACK!

A 2-mile immersive celebration of the arts along the Mountain to River Trail, M2R TrailFest returns Saturday, May 7, 2022.

YOUR STORY in YOUR WORDS

A lot has happened since March 2020. We invite you to call us and share what life is like for you two years later.

To share your story, please call 770-569-3305 and follow the recorded instructions.

In addition to the auditory catalogue, select stories will be featured in a companion portraiture series captured by photographer Justin Hadley. The series will be presented on this website and will be on display as part of the M2R Fence Gallery, a countywide, yearlong traveling exhibit.
